Our LED enhanced signs improve safety when notification of changed conditions is needed. These signs, which are visible even in bright sunlight and especially in darkness, draw and hold motorists' attention to potential hazards or changing road conditions ahead.
ActiveWarning™ LED Enhanced Turn Signs
This MUTCD approved left turn sign, with 15 MPH speed limit, is located in Windsor, California. A radar sensor device reads the speed of approaching vehicles and activates the Elighten1™ flashing rate.
All ActiveWarning™ sign systems operate on DC current. These systems draw minimal amperage with low power demands. Depending on location, they can be solar powered.
The signage can be of any MUTCD approved sign, or customized for a particular situation - such as a warning of a blind curve or change in road conditions.
ActiveWarning™ signage can be activated with push button or by automatic activation devices. Also available is a radar detection system that can sense the approach of vehicular traffic, activating a variety of warning signs. This system is useful for conditions such as exceeding posted speed limit, approach to school or hospital, and emergency vehicle exits.
The radar detection device can be set to determine the speed of an approaching vehicle. If the motorist is traveling over the posted speed limit, the LED enhanced signage will begin flashing until the vehicle slows down or passes through the limited speed zone.
Warranty and Maintenance
LightGuard Systems™ offers a two year conditional warranty on its LED enhanced signage system module components. These systems operate on DC current and can be solar powered.
