The entry level controller accepts call signal inputs from either manual push buttons or automatic activation devices to
initiate Enlighten1™ flashing rate light sequence.
Motorists should thereby be visually alerted to the presence of pedestrians
entering the crosswalk.
The LED module flashing sequence is activated for a preset duration allowing adequate
crossing time.

The Standard PCU accepts call signal inputs from either manual pedestrian push button device or automatic pedestrian activation detector. Once activated the Enlighten1™ flashing light visually alerts motorists to the presence of pedestrians entering the crosswalk.
The programmable user interface has a 16 digit keypad and a 2 line-20 character liquid crystal display with 2 megabyte external memory. The micro-computer is based on a high-speed 8 bit embedded software utilizing compiled machine control language.
A proprietary software
program provides effective reliable operation allowing the user to make simple adjustments to the Smart Crosswalk™ system parameters.
Battery backup ensures continual system function during power outages. The 12 volt DC sealed lead-acid
battery is rated at 12 Ah @ 20 hour rate ensuring system operation.
Available with multiple upgrade kits for AC or DC beacons, constant AC output, constant DC output, and audible notification. User interface allows for multiple option selection and preset programming.

The solar powered controller accepts call signal inputs from either manual push button or automatic bollard activation.
The activation devices initiate the Enlighten1™ flashing signal light sequence. Approaching motorist are alerted to the presence of pedestrians entering the crosswalk.
The system includes enclosure, solar panel, mounting brackets, and back-up batteries.
The solar PCU enclosure contains 2 SLA batteries which are 12 volt deep cycle sealed gel-cell batteries. Each battery is rated at approximately 100 amp hours. the batteries are wired in parallel to gibe 12 volts nominal at 200 amp hours of storage.
Available with multiple DC related upgrade kits: DE beacons, constant DC output, audible notification, etc.

Dual Zone Power Control Unit (PCU)

Description: Dual Zone AC PCU with Programmable Interface
This factory installed option converts the standard PCU for dual independent crosswalk zone output. User interface allows for multiple option
selection and preset programming.
Data collection and retrieval for information
such as date and time of crossing events, frequency of
activation provide expanded capabilities for each crosswalk zone.
As in the Standard PCU, the programmable user interface has
a 16 digit keypad and a 2 line-20 character liquid crystal display with 2 megabyte external memory. The PCU is based on a high speed 8 bit embedded micro-controller utilizing compiled machine
control language.
Battery backup ensures continual system function during power
outages. The 12 volt DC sealed lead-acid battery rated at 12 AH
ensuring continual system operation.

Warranty and Maintenance
The LightGuard System offers a 2 year conditional warranty. In-pavement signaling systems are DC powered and can operate with both solar and A/C powered supplied units.
